According to Dave Noonan (who was there), the show, "was cancelled due to Jez (I think) having a tooth knocked out(?) or at least so we heard... so the Happy Mondays played with the Railway Children as support & the whole place went up - they were fighting in lumps after Bez slapped a Blackburn casual who was 'sig heiling' on stage..."]
